From our analysis we have found that the optimum temperature for the Xylazyme tablet method (T-XAX) is 50°C instead of 40°C. Can you tell us how you determine the temperature optimum?

We do not give a "temperature optimum" for use of the tablets, we just recommend a "suggested" assay format for different enzymes. We routinely recommend 40°C for our enzyme tests for consistency. Depending on the enzyme activity that you are measuring there may be stability issues at certain temperatures or pHs but if the enzyme allows it the Xylazyme tablets (T-XAX) can be used up to 70°C with no problems.
