​Can lettuce be tested using the K-FRUC method?

We have not used this method for analysis of lettuce, however we have used it for other vegetables. 

We recommend that the lettuce should be freeze-dried and milled to 0.5mm to be able to measure the fructan content and recommend to use 400mg of material in the extraction process. 

This kit will measures total fructan content so all types of fructan that might be in lettuce would be determined.
